My band, Lost Cabras, is getting ready to release the EP soon! Entitled Made in Cabrasfornia, the EP will have four songs, "Some Say", "Wrong Idea", "Glance", and "Clown Boat Lamp". The songs are mixed and mastered, and artwork is on it's way. We are SOOOOO excited about these songs!

Ada Lovelace Day is an international day of blogging to draw attention to women excelling in technology.

I was supposed to blog about one person in particular, but I just don't have the heart or energy for writing lately, so I'll post something very general. There are of course lot's of great smart, hardworking people in technology who happen to be women.

Been working on a site for a friend's band, Gusto, which features my pals from Santa Cruz, Dave Dinsmore ( Bl'ast!, Unida, Ché) and Mike Neider (Bl'ast!), playing with drummer, Alfredo Hernández (Ché, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age).

Saw a really cool movie, Such Hawks, Such Hounds, last night at the Silent Movie Theatre on Fairfax. Such Hawks was co-produced/co-directed by an old Rhino co-worker of mine, John Srebalus, and is a documentary on stoner/doom/proto-metal/pych/hard rock from the 70's till now.
